Thimblefen Press publishes fiction that arrives quietly and does not leave when you close the cover: stories about people, their assurances, and the weather that moves in regardless.

Thimblefen Press is an independent house founded in 2026. We publish a little, and slowly. Our mark is a thimble set upright in a fen, sprouting cattails — a small household thing left out in the wet long enough to grow something. It suits the books: modest objects that turn out to have weather inside them.
